WHAT’S NEW?

FSI UNVEILS NEW IDENTITY AND WEBSITE

FOR 30TH BIRTHDAY FSI, a specialist CAFM/IWMS company, is celebrating its 30th birthday, having launched just one year after the World Wide Web was invented.

Over the course of it’s three decades of business it has struck a balance in developing experienced FM experts and nurturing rising stars.

The company has continually been able to drive innovation in the CAFM/IWMS tech space, through recessions, circumstantial reductions in service provider spend and even the Y2K bug (though the latter of course proved to be inconsequential).

Now the company welcomes a fresh look that more accurately mirrors their pedigree and standing in the industry. From installation using floppy disks 30

years ago to today’s advanced intricacies of Concept Evolution, FSI has grown up with the FM industry with its flag now firmly planted as a leading CAFM/IWMS solution provider.

Having identified the fixation the industry holds with isolating data, FSI’s focus will be placed on how to harness collective data in 2020. How they can automate learning from big data for their clients, and be able to make predictions based on historical information to inform future decision-making.

high levels of conformance to the demanding standards of the Schemes, according to the analysis of the 2019 audit results.

The Schemes’ Independent Inspector conducted more than 140 audits, inspecting well over 2,000 individual products in the process. Conformance across all four Schemes – Manufacturing Standards Accreditation Schemes for Soft Tissue, Plastic Refuse Sacks and the Accreditation Scheme for Distributors – was near perfect.

The results make it clear, if buyers of cleaning and hygiene products want to be certain ‘what’s on the box is what’s in the box’, they need to look for the CHSA Accreditation Scheme logo.

During 2019 all distributor members either applied to join and successfully passed the Accreditation Scheme Inspection or left the Association and are no longer able to use the CHSA logo. Almost all applied to join and conformance is excellent, an average of more than 97%.

With a high percentage of employees that have been at FSI for over a decade (in some cases over 20 years), client relationships that have lasted since before the millennium, and an ethos that cultivates the finest talent to continually challenge the status quo in the FM space, FSI continues to innovate its product, embrace new technologies and solidify its place within the industry. To recognise this milestone, FSI is launching a new website and new visual identity.

The global team of more than 200 developers, consultants, technical leads and more continue to push the boundaries of what’s considered ‘the norm’ in the FM tech space. A business built on creativity, excellence, growth and collaboration – FSI is always looking 30 years into the future.

“Our Accreditation Schemes make sure ‘what’s on the box is what’s in the box’ is the industry norm for buyers of cleaning and hygiene products,” explained Mike Stubbs, Chairman of the Accreditation Schemes. “It’s our rigorous process of Independent Inspection that means we can maintain this position and offer our guarantee to contract cleaners and facilities managers.”

All members of the CHSA must also conform to the Association’s rigorous Code of Practice, which demands an ethical and responsible approach to business, and more importantly, that product labelling provides full and accurate dimensions and quantities.

Committed to the integrity of the Schemes, the CHSA’s governing Council will expel any Scheme member who, in spite of being offered the guidance required to correct issues, consistently fails to conform to the relevant Scheme Standard.
