Hello and welcome to the December issue of Tomorrow’s FM. Can you believe we’ve reached the end of another year? This is my third and final

year as editor of TFM and will be my final issue, so I’ve been sure to make it a good one for you.

To wrap things up for 2017 (pun intended) we are heading to the world of Leisure & Retail. To make sure things are ship shape for the holidays and for all those savvy sale shoppers heading out over the festive period; we’re

looking at cleaning tips, security musts and how to keep your washroom up to scratch and queue-free.

Whilst Christmas lights are up all over the place, we have kept things topical, looking at Lighting; both in car parks and sports centres, and the latest LED innovations to keep an eye on in 2018. We’ve also got the heads

up on software and applications to look out for next year, with EPoS systems and room booking technology that will make your lives easier, in our CAFM&IT section.

And to round things up, we have updates from the realm of Hotels & Hospitality. Keeping things in check ahead of the busy winter season, we share how to keep healthy, hydrated and avoid troublesome cold-weather issues.

Our ‘10 Questions’ this month are answered by Ravi Bhatnagar of Anabas, who tells us about his fictional meeting with the cast of Friends and his dream Jaguar car. Elsewhere, Liz Kentish shares her pearls of wisdom for

the final time this year, and we keep you in the loop with all the latest in our ‘What’s New?’ feature.

So all that remains is for me to say thanks for all the support you have given me over the last three years at the helm, it’s been a real pleasure working with and getting to know you all; I wish you all the best for the future.
