GROWTH IN CORPORATE SECTOR

FOR UKWSL

UKWSL has appointed Tony McPartland to head up its Corporate Development team, responsible for developing relationships with UKWSL’s blue-chip client base across the retail, FM and property management sectors.

Tony, who has had a career in the waste industry spanning 13 years, joins the waste broker from Cawleys where he spent three years working across its corporate accounts. Prior to this he was at Suez for four years, working with customers in the London, Essex and Kent regions.

Roland Archer, Sales Director at UKWSL, commented: “With the spectre of Brexit looming ever larger, this is an uneasy time for all businesses and here in the waste industry, customers are looking for fixed commercials which lays the risk firmly at our door. Tony’s many years in the sector will therefore prove invaluable as we grapple with the changes in the industry brought about by the new political landscape and the tighter regulations relating to recycling and contamination.”

Tony added: “I bring some significant experience to UKWSL from my years within the self-delivery model of the waste industry. My in-depth knowledge of key sectors will therefore be used to drive UKWSL forward into the future, whilst at the same time ensuring our clients are realising the commercial and environmental opportunities resulting from the government’s waste and resource strategy.”

The FM group has been appointed to transform service provision by digitally enabling the provision of mail room management, porterage, reprographics, scanning, records management, and purchasing services.
