BIG LEAGUE

to grow from being a contract cleaning company into a fully-fledged, red expansion. Rick Stoor, MD of Templa, reports.

already designed a standard two-way API for Churchill’s time and attendance system, enabling the company’s operations managers to view actual worked time versus contracted hours in the TemplaCMS timesheet environment.

Digitally transforming the future Churchill’s vision for the future of digital FM goes further than contract management and financial control. The company is extending its digital strategy with new software, entitled mo:dus, designed to simplify FM service delivery and facilitate enhanced ways of working with clients.

Rolled out in three phases, mo:dus will deliver benefits that include integrating people, activity and transactional workflows. Phase one is the development of a platform that will digitally enable all people centric activities, for example the TUPE transfer process. This innovative approach will operate as a paperless and email-less system, using real- time digital workflows and driving improved data insights and analysis for ongoing service development.

Going forward, this means Templa will cement their position as a key strategic business partner to the group, with TemplaCMS as the hub of the business, continuing to manage Churchill’s central database of contracts, staff, clients and suppliers.

Meanwhile, the sector-specific, line of business software will be driven by and feed information back to TemplaCMS. TemplaCMS will support the introduction of mo:dus, providing APIs and exchanging data with it. In the first stage of implementation, work has already started on creating a new Employee Hub that will be used by all Churchill staff to view payslips, holiday calendars, messages and company documents.

As Karen Magor, Churchill’s Internal Operations Director said: “TemplaCMS has been critical to Churchill’s expansion over the last eight years and we are looking forward to them playing an even more important part as we embark on our digital journey.”
