Our research highlighted the potential pitfalls of focusing too heavily on industry experience, rather than on the softer skills your team might possess. It also revealed that outdated perceptions of apprenticeships only being seen as a learning tool for career starters could be holding back the progress of more experienced care professionals looking to move to the next level.
The See V toolkit aimed to look beyond the traditional experience-based CV, and shares insights from leading HR professionals on how to spot signs of talent hiding within a care team. It also provided advice on how to tap into these pools of talent through apprenticeships.
The toolkit revealed the missed opportunities for care operators across the UK to upskill their workforce in order to relieve ongoing staffing issues hitting the sector and ensure consistent levels of quality patient care.
