A career in care is rewarding for so many reasons, but primarily it offers people a wonderful opportunity to do something meaningful in their lives that impacts others in a positive way. The great thing about working in care is that it is such a diverse sector. This means that, regardless of your

skills, experience or interests, there will be a role in which your unique attributes can shine. For example, if you want to help support people to live better lives, you can work directly as a carer. If you’re passionate about food and nutrition, you could support people in a care home by working as
a chef. If you’re outgoing and active, you could put your skills to use by working as an activities coordinator, or by creating social experiences. Then there are housekeeping services or accounting roles – the world really is your oyster. What’s more, a career in the care industry is about your
