New Director of Operations for Facilicom


UK Facilicom UK has announced the


appointment of Peter Buff as its new Director of Operations, succeeding Giles Wheeler.


Peter assumed responsibilities on 23 July, allowing a six- month handover period between Peter and Giles, who will be retiring at the end of 2018.


Peter has more than 20 years’ leadership experience in the outsourcing and business services sectors, holding senior roles spanning operations, account development and sales for companies including Johnson Controls GWS (now CBRE), ENGIE and Mitie.

Awards 2018 The Irish Contract Cleaning Association (ICCA) Industry Awards 2018 will take place in The Round Room at Mansion House, Dublin, on 19 October 2018.


The Awards are split into 13 different categories: Small Retail Buildings; Retail Buildings; Manufacturing; Hospitality/ Leisure/Residential Buildings; Educational Buildings up to Secondary Schools; Educational Buildings, Third Level Colleges; Healthcare Acute; Healthcare Non-Acute; Offices


Five year extension on


Irish Rail ISS in Ireland has successfully retained its contract with Irish Rail (Iarnród Éireann) for an additional five years.


Irish Rail provides passenger and freight rail services across Ireland, and ISS has provided cleaning services for Irish Rail rolling stock, offices, depots and stations and concourse since first commencing operations in 1997.


ISS currently provide cleaning services at all large stations and depots throughout the country, at over 65 locations nationwide to approximately 10,500 individual units each month.


With locally driven quality improvement programmes, and continued strong employee engagement at all levels, ISS demonstrated collaboration from across the business to provide an added value solution for their long-established client.
