KLENZAN GOES GREEN’R WITH PRE- DOSED CLEANING
SACHETS Klenzan Ltd, based in Warrington, Cheshire, has launched its new eco-friendly pre-dosed range of concentrated surface cleaning products, under the brand name Green’R.
The Green’R range of cleaners and sanitisers are designed to be used for all routine cleaning jobs and where storage space is limited. The eco-friendly products come in pre- dosed water-soluble sachets (PVOH) that dissolve in under 60 seconds and include a sanitiser, tested and approved to BS EN 1276 for effective bacterial reduction.

PUMP CHANGE OUT Australian Pump is leading the charge in getting pressure cleaner operators into compliance with the new Australian Pressure Cleaner Safety Standards. The company has issued a free one page guide to the standards and the implications for users.

The big difference between an A and B class machine is that B class operators need to be certified and revalidated every two years. Certification requires training by the approved RTO which can be both expensive and difficult to organise.
Australian Pump has recognised that some operators would rather convert the water blaster to A class compliance, to simplify OH&S requirements on site. It has developed a pump ‘change-out program’ to convert B class machines to Class A without losing major capability.
The change-out program enables B class engine drive machines in the 20HP-plus range to be fitted with powerful 4,000psi 20lpm ‘Big Berty’ Bertolini pumps that qualify as A class units.

Nicknamed ‘Dr Mal’, Patel is running a campaign of ‘heart-transplants’ to bring a little humour into the changeover program.
He continued: “The heart of any pressure cleaner is the piston pump. By changing out any brand of B class pump for an A class Bertolini means we can help people with compliance and at the same time give them a great product as well. There are special discounts out for the change-over program.”
A schedule of pumps and their changeover details is available together with detailed instructions on how to fit the new ‘Big Berty’ pump. Australian Pump has also authorised distributors all around the country who are fired up to carry out this ‘surgery’ on all brands of machines.
