GREEN APPLE CLEAN has secured a coveted Green Apple Award for Environmental Best Practice from one of the most respected recognition schemes for environmental endeavour.


Facing off against stiff competition, with more than 500 entries from a variety of industries within the private and public sectors, judges were impressed by the pioneering and industry- leading commitment to sustainability and investment in state-of-the-art equipment, processes and systems which has seen CLEAN reduce their overall carbon footprint by 39%.

REACH FOR ISO 14001 Star Platforms Ltd, the UK-based powered access rental company, has achieved the accreditation of ISO 14001:2015.


ISO 14001 is an internationally agreed standard that sets out the requirements for an Environmental Management System. It will help Star Platforms improve their environmental performance through more efficient use of resources and reduction of waste whilst gaining a competitive advantage.


The standard includes the need for continual improvement of an organisation's systems and approach to environmental concerns. The standard has recently been revised (14001:2015) with key improvements such as the increased prominence of

The awards, which are supported by the Environment Agency, the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health and other independent bodies, will be presented at a glittering ceremony at the Houses of Parliament on 6 November 2017.
