The Association of Healthcare Cleaning Professionals is the professional body that works with provider organisations, national and government bodies and other associations to develop, support and promote best practice and healthcare cleaning industry standards.
Membership is open to all organisations and individuals with an interest in improving quality and standards in health and social care premises. As a member, you will have direct access to a range of professional training and development programmes, a wealth of information, expertise and experience as well as help, advice and support from like-minded fellow professionals. You will be able to work with a large variety of suppliers to develop and test new innovations and you as an individual will have a voice and influence on tomorrow’s cleaning standards.

Founded in 1961, and with over 50 years of experience and a global remit, The British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc) delivers practical, hands-on training courses, technical support and professional membership for the cleaning industry worldwide.
BICSc’ network includes over 40,000 Individual and Corporate members making it one of the largest and most diverse communities of cleaning professionals.
The company’s mission is to raise the status and standards of the cleaning industry through education and accredited training thereby; protecting the operative, providing a clean and safe environment, preserving assets, promoting sustainability and producing best practice.
Run by its members for its members, the Cleaning & Hygiene Suppliers’ Association (CHSA) represents the majority of the UK’s major manufacturers and distributors of cleaning and hygiene products in the ‘away from home’ market.
The Association is committed to standards, embodied by its respected Accreditation Schemes that make certain ’what’s on the box is what’s in the box’. Our Standards: Your Guarantee.
The CHSA informs members on key industry issues and advocates a sustainable approach, in particular addressing the challenge of plastics in the supply chain.
The CHSA connects members at highlight events and has a history of giving back, operating an Undergraduate Bursary and raising thousands of pounds each year for the Chairman’s Charity.
