KLENZAN GOES GREEN’R WITH PRE-DOSED CLEANING

SACHETS Klenzan Ltd, based in Warrington, Cheshire, has launched its new eco-friendly pre-dosed range of concentrated surface cleaning products, under the brand name Green’R.

The Green’R range of cleaners and sanitisers are designed to be used for all routine cleaning jobs and where storage space is limited. The eco-friendly products come in pre- dosed water-soluble sachets (PVOH) that dissolve in under 60 seconds and include a sanitiser, tested and approved to BS EN 1276 for effective bacterial reduction.

The easy to use PVOH sachets cut down on the need for bulk storage and ensure there is no skin contact with concentrated chemicals. One small pack of 20 x 10g sachets equates to 15 litres of chemical solution when dissolved. Once added to water, the Green’R surface sanitiser remains totally effective for up to 28 days, retaining its capacity to clean and disinfect without the need to be replenished.

Peter Littleton, Klenzan Technical Director, commented: “Green’R provides a cost effective, compact and consistent answer to high quality hygiene in catering and food establishments large and small. Many outlets struggle for space and need an easy, safe to use solution for keeping things clean. Green’R offers a range of products to tackle every day to day cleaning task.”

MAKING MINE

MAINTENANCE A BLAST A huge Kohler air-cooled diesel engine powered 5,000psi Hydroblaster has been released by Australian Pump Industries. Designed specifically for the mining and construction industry, the high pressure washer offers operators tremendous cleaning power with minimal use of water.

water and provides operators with significantly faster cleaning.”

The heart of the system is a heavy duty ‘Big Berty’ Bertolini triplex pump that develops 20lpm flow at 5,000psi. The Predator also offers an effective working pressure (EWP) with Aussie Turbomaster turbo lance of 8,500psi.

The whole machine comes in a sturdy galvanised steel trolley with four pneumatic tyred wheels making it manoeuvrable on site. A hose reel and 60m of hose fits easily to the frame. The reel means that the hose is stored tidily which prolongs the hose life and minimises the trip hazards.

The Hydroblaster is equipped with Aussie Safety Protection (ASP), a system that consists of a safety valve that protects the operator and machine from spikes in the system. A thermal dump valve is incorporated to protect the machine from overheating due to bypass running.

Hamish continued: “The big 23 HP Kohler diesel was chosen because of its reliability, power and torque characteristics. The Predator is living proof that Australia’s machines are as good as any in the world and are priced competitively.”

The Predator is rated as a B class machine under the new Australian safety standards. As such it is fitted with both an emergency stop and is supplied with a 500 bar hose shroud. An optional foot valve is also available.
