INNOVATIVE

PRODUCTS ON SHOW Chicopee recently showcased its range of innovative professional microfibre cleaning products at this year’s Pulire exhibition in Verona, Italy. The event took place at Verona’s Exhibition Centre from 23rd to 25th May 2017, attracting more than 14,000 visitors from around the globe and more than 300 exhibitors.

A CLEAN SWEEP An addition to Chicopee’s microfibre collection is the recently launched mop range. The mops can be used on different surfaces, including those which are easily damaged from spills, such as wood, laminate and tiles, and can also be used to dust floors before cleaning begins.

The mops themselves are designed for use with Chicopee’s fluid mopping system, a light and easy to use tool which is both durable and flexible. The user puts the mop on the floor and simply places the mop head onto the mop for quick and easy attachment with micro Velcro strips.

Forget carrying around heavy buckets of water; the mopping tool has an in- built reservoir of cleaning fluid, so the user simply pulls a trigger to release the liquid, cleans the area then throws away the microfibre mop once it is full. It is possible to clean more than 75m² without refilling either the liquid in the tool’s in-built reservoir, or changing the mop.

Again, the microfibre construction of the mop traps dirt and bacteria inside the layers, and once full the mop is discarded, eliminating the risk of spreading germs on to the next area to be cleaned.

Visitors to the Chicopee stand were able to see for themselves the trusted and high-quality range of microfibre cleaning wipes, cloths and mops, which are suitable for a range of sectors, from healthcare and catering to facilities management and clean manufacturing. The range includes three products for surface cleaning, as well as a choice of three product qualities for floor mopping. The different products are designed to cater for different needs in terms of cleaning time, cross-contamination risk and cleaning performance required so that there’s always the right tool to fit your needs.

Visitors to Pulire could also take a good look at Chicopee’s innovative new floor mopping range, which combines the superior cleaning of a microfibre mop with a light and ergonomically designed mopping tool, for a germ-free clean every time.

Also on show was the newly launched DuraWipe range of Industrial wipers. This range provides a composite material mixing the absorbency benefits of tissue with the strength of a non-woven. Again available in three quality levels, it can provide a cost effective replacement for the overuse of tissue and at the higher end a more convenient solution to re-usable rags.

James Taylor, Marketing Director at Chicopee, said: “Pulire is one of the largest and most important professional cleaning exhibitions in Europe, attracting visitors from around the world. It’s the perfect place to showcase our innovative and trusted range of microfibre products, which are ideal for use in a huge range of sectors, including healthcare, catering and facilities management.”
