BRACE OF NEW HIRES AT ROBERT SCOTT
Robert Scott & Sons Limited has hired Karen Thwaites and James Brisbane, Regional Manager for the South and South West and Marketing Manager respectively.
Previously Customer Services Manager at Blue Dragon Commercial Laundry, Karen has spent over 20 years in the linen retail industry – 18 years as a regional and national Customer Service Manager and two years as a General Manager based in Poole, Dorset.
Group Sales Manager at Robert Scott, Gill Irseon, said: “Karen’s experience and drive will be important qualities for the sales team as we embark upon a busy new sales period across the country. She has already begun to make her mark with our customer base across the South and South West, and her past experience within the laundry sector has been particularly helpful with the promotion of our UTC range of laundry products.
“This is a very busy time for us with both established and new customers – our range of products and services are in great demand across all sectors, particularly in healthcare, hotel and catering and commercial organisations – Karen will be a great addition to the team.”

James, who will be based at the company’s Saddleworth headquarters, brings a wealth of experience as a marketing and communications specialist. He studied at both Sheffield and Manchester Metropolitan Universities where he gained a BA (Hons) degree postgraduate diploma in Marketing Management.
Previous to joining Robert Scott’s, James was Marketing Communications Manager at a leading provider of

technology services focussing on digital and inbound marketing techniques. Prior to that he worked for six years at the European subsidiary of a US business services company, where his role included content and digital marketing, branding and internal communications.

KLENZAN ACCEPTS ADVENTURE CHALLENGE FOR NSPCC
Klenzan, the Warrington-based hygiene specialist, is supporting the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC) by entering a team in the Lake District Adventure Challenge, which is held in Coniston on 10th June 2017.
21 enthusiastic Klenzan staff will take part in this challenging event which pits them against the spectacular and demanding landscape of the Lake District National Park by bike, kayak and on foot. The team will trek to the 2,634ft high summit of the Old Man of Coniston, kayak across Coniston Water, and cycle 12km of off-road trails in Grizedale forest.
Chris Bayliss, Klenzan Sales Manager and Challenge Team Leader, commented: “We are thrilled to be involved in this fantastic event to help raise funds and awareness for the amazing work that the NSPCC do. It will be a challenge for us all but one that will not only be memorable but that will contribute to and enhance the lives of future generations.”
