Training in the safe and effective use of our chemicals is vital, and over the years the Selkirk-based manufacturing company has developed a comprehensive range of support and reference materials to enhance their face to face training sessions. These valuable reference tools offer guidance to help eliminate common mistakes, improve cleaning performance and ensure that staff are working in a safe and risk-free environment.
In short, ensuring cleaning staff are adequately trained simply means achieving the best results possible, safely and in a cost effective manner. But time is money and so they looked at the digital sphere to help improve and scale up their training provision, with spectacular results.
THE CHALLENGE The company prides itself on offering a full package of services to its customers and a critical part of this is fit-for-purpose training. To ensure both the product and dispensing systems are being used correctly, RP Adam creates its own training programmes that are rolled out by its Customer Service Representatives (CSR’s) across the UK. There are two main streams of training which RP Adam offers: firstly, how to use the chemical products safely and secondly, Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) training.
