CARPET FIBRE INVISTA Antron carpet fibre, featuring in Burmatex Hardron carpet tiles, is now providing the offices of Quelfire with a high-performance carpet reflecting the fire protection company’s corporate identity.
Made with Antron Lumena carpet fibre, Hadron carpet tiles provide a unique combination of shade and texture, featuring bursts of accent colour that have been used to good effect by Cheshire Office, as part of the refurbishment of Quelfire’s Sandbach offices. Selecting Papaya to represent the client’s corporate orange colour and combining this with the tonal grey of Titanium, office fit-out specialist, Cheshire Office has created a dynamic layout throughout workspaces and stairways.

Antron Lumena carpet fibre has allowed Burmatex to create a high- performance carpet tile that met the need for a durable floorcovering for a busy office environment. The carpet fibre has a multi-hollow cross-section that reduces the appearance of soiling and a molecular structure that makes it difficult for dirt to stick, making maintenance easier and keeping the good look of the carpet. Colourfast and lightfast, Antron Lumena carpet
fibre is also resistant to staining.
Beverley Davenport, Cheshire Office, commented: “We wanted a floor that was durable and smart, but that also reflected Quelfire’s corporate identity. With a textured linear loop design that looks sophisticated, Burmatex Hadron carpet tiles were the ideal floorcovering as we could select a colourway with flashes of orange in Papaya, complementing this with the tonal grey of Titanium for a clean and vibrant look.”
Fitted over two floors of office space, Burmatex Hadron carpet tiles, made with INVISTA Antron Lumena carpet fibre, feature the same dark grey base combined with highlight colours ranging from bright to semi-dark. A subtle weft texture enhances the dispersed nature of the colours in a tile inspired by the Large Hadron Collider.
