Introducing Walbrook, a brand-new original design from Harvey Maria. This stylish collection is a celebration of the creative process of combining patterns from a historical context, while using contemporary manufacturing; LVT flooring inspired by Victorian encaustic tiles, but thoroughly modern in design.
The unique decorative pattern is clean in design, yet lends a rustic elegance to both contemporary and traditional interior styles. Six colourways have been carefully developed to create an on-trend colour palette. All colourways have been designed with modern family living in mind – from rich heritage tones, which are wonderfully forgiving, to fresh natural hues, which bring warmth and personality to newer properties. The collection includes three natural neutrals – Sherwin Slate, Avebury Stone and Peyton Blue – complemented by three rich heritage tones – Old Green, Pastel Black and Claystone.
“Walbrook was inspired by the classic beauty of Arts and Crafts encaustic floor tiles from the mid-19th Century. We have reimagined these iconic designs to complement the contemporary homes that we are building, renovating and living in today,” explains Harvey Maria’s founder, Mark Findlay.
The resilient floor finish is easy to care for by sweeping or mopping with a neutral detergent; no harmful chemicals needed. Harvey Maria is also recognised for the award-winning MSeries collection of authentic wood planks and natural stones – a collection of beautifully hand-crafted designs with ultra-realistic textures. The unique matt, tactile finish means that they look and feel like real wood and stone, but are massively practical, durable and sustainable.
