Developed for the installation of LVT floorcoverings, Mapei Ultrabond Eco 4 LVT is an EMICODE EC1 Plus-rated fibre-reinforced adhesive that provides a host of benefits for the flooring contractor. It is formulated to provide the highest performance, in terms of adhesion and dimensional stability, along with safety and installation benefits. The versatile adhesive is ideal for high traffic environments – from shopping centres and airports, to health care and office environments – and can be used for the installation of flooring subjected to stresses from chair castors according to EN 12529.

A highly shear resistant, hard set, wet-bed adhesive, Mapei Ultrabond Eco 4 LVT is a synthetic polymer-based high temperature dispersion formula, with a very low emission. The ready-to-use light beige paste is easy to apply. It provides a fast and strong initial grab and a rapid set, creating a rigid and cohesive final film. Other features include very good peel strength and prevention of open joints. The adhesive has a waiting time of just 0-10 minutes, is set to light foot traffic after 3-5 hours and ready for use after 24-48 hours.
Mapei Ultrabond Eco 4 LVT is suitable for use on floors and walls, on level, absorbent surfaces and with underfloor heating systems. As well as LVT floors, tiles and planks, it can also be used for bonding homogeneous, heterogeneous, CV and multilayer PVC floor tiles; semi-flexible quartz vinyl floor tiles (VCT); synthetic-back linoleum tiles and polyolefin-based and PUR floor tiles.
