C555 Concrete Moisture Meter by Wagner Meters ABOUT THIS PRODUCT...
The C555 Concrete Moisture Meter by Wagner Meters provides fast, non-destructive moisture measurements on smooth, firm concrete to help pinpoint problem areas. It is extremely helpful for determining where to place relative humidity (RH) sensors for accurate in-situ RH testing of concrete moisture.
The C555 is loaded with all the right features. It is the only concrete moisture meter in the market that allows for in-field calibration. This makes it much easier to meet the calibration requirements of ASTM F2659. The C555 also has built-in temperature and RH sensors for tracking ambient conditions. And it offers relative mode for use on other materials.
You can think of the C555 as a targeting device. Because it will tell you the most likely problem areas in a concrete floor slab, it is the perfect companion tool for the Rapid RH concrete moisture testing system. Put them together and you’ve got everything you need to gather essential data about the moisture condition of a concrete slab and make informed flooring installation decisions.
The C555 works by emitting a signal into the material to measure moisture down to 12.5mm below the surface. It is designed to give you quick, reliable data about what zones are low or high in moisture. This makes it especially well-suited when assessing concrete slabs and finding wet spots.
The C555 is useful in many other ways. For example, it can be used to quickly scan an area of concrete after a moisture-related incident, such as a leak, to learn the scope and intensity of the moisture intrusion into the slab. The C555 can also be used to qualitatively measure the moisture of other materials such as brick, cement or gypsum. Plus, it can be used to monitor ambient temperature and RH.
