This major technical upgrade means that the entire range now offers the slip resistance usually reserved for safety flooring, in a wide choice of fashionable decors.

The Malmo luxury vinyl tile flooring (LVT) collection comprises the Malmo Freedom Stickdown, Rigid Comfort and Rigid Senses Registered and Embossed ranges, offering 57 stylish designs across Rigid 5G Click and Stickdown formats. The flooring combines the authentic look and feel of real wood and tiles with the high-performance qualities of a technical, man-made material, ensuring its versatility for domestic and commercial projects alike.
Demonstrating the brand’s commitment to innovation, the AO coating has been applied across all 25 Malmo Freedom stickdown designs, increasing slip resistance to +36 PTV, low risk in wet areas, while the 0.55mm wear layer further enhances its safety credentials. The coating, which does not compromise the visual quality of the flooring, also provides an additional protective layer against potential scratches.
Malmo Freedom stickdown LVT offers many additional benefits, notably being completely waterproof and R10 slip resistant. In bathrooms, it offers sound absorbency, is naturally warm to bare feet and is suitable for use with water-piped underfloor heating systems. In areas with large expanses of glazing such as conservatories, the flooring can withstand variations in temperature and, being stable and tolerant to heavy weights, it is ideal for fitting under kitchen furniture. The flooring can also be installed across large areas with no transition strips, and it is ideal for quick turnaround refurbs as it can be laid across the entire space before fixtures and fittings.
Malmo Freedom stickdown offers greater impact resistance than tiles, aligns with consumers’ desire for smooth, easy-clean surfaces and does not require ongoing maintenance. Decors span on-trend large format square tiles, Moroccan tile effects, elegant woodgrains and chic herringbone designs. The range offers a 25-year domestic and 10-year commercial warranty.
