If you are in the flooring sector and looking for an alternative, environmentally-friendly waste disposal route for your waste vinyl flooring that avoids landfill, then Recofloor is the answer.
The national scheme offers collection services from job sites, contractors’ premises and distributors, providing a convenient, time- and-money-saving solution for its participants. Nearly 6,000 tonnes of waste vinyl flooring have been collected in total through Recofloor for use in new products, saving 7,347 tonnes of CO2 emissions.

Recofloor is a collection and recycling service for commercial waste vinyl flooring across the UK and in Northern Ireland.
Founded in 2009 by flooring manufacturers Altro and Polyflor, the scheme provides an eco-friendly and cost- effective alternative to traditional waste disposal routes, helping the flooring industry and its partners become more sustainable.
As a Recofloor member, you are in good company with more than 500 members and 57 drop-off sites located at flooring distributors across the UK where material can be dropped off and bulked for collections. As well as helping you to do your bit for the environment by ensuring waste vinyl flooring is recycled, joining Recofloor can help save you up to 70% on your disposal costs.

Recofloor is free to join and offers plenty of support for members, including assistance with training and information on how to use the scheme. Recofloor accepts luxury vinyl tiles (LVTs), smooth, safety and loose lay vinyl offcuts, roll ends as well as uplifted smooth and loose lay vinyl.
