For my first job, I worked in sales within a Ford main dealership.

INDUSTRY? Within my 22 years in the battery and charger industry I have seen a lot of changes. Initially all batteries supplied to the cleaning sector were wet lead acid, now the majority of the batteries being supplied are sealed gel batteries.


This change has been driven by a number of factors, for instance

CLEANING INDUSTRY? Energy and Time Saving Products.


The first chargers supplied to the cleaning sector were 50hz with large transformers which consumed a large amount of electricity to operate and over time could prematurely damage the batteries. The battery chargers now being supplied by Ecobat are extremely efficient.


The high frequency smart chargers we supply not only consume significantly less electricity, but they also have the capability to be set to the correct charging profile of the battery. This increases the battery’s working life and the performance.
