Evans Vanodine has been developing and manufacturing cleaning and hygiene products for over 100 years. Its products cover an extensive range of applications within industrial and professional hygiene sectors, from catering and hospitality to infection control and hand hygiene. The company, still owned and run by the Evans family, currently exports products to 85+ countries worldwide.

Evans Vanodine recently launched Air and Fabric Freshener, a high-quality liquid freshener containing naturally derived and renewable malodour technology, making it ideal for persistent odours. It also features anti-soiling protection for use on carpets, fabrics and upholstery to guard against staining and resoiling.

Air and Fabric Freshener uses Flairosol, a next generation solution for dispensing liquids, offering an alternative to aerosols free from pressurised, harmful gases. Aerosols, which rely on a propellant to operate, are no longer considered environmentally responsible or sustainable. They do not allow all the product to be dispersed, with some product often left in the canister, and most cannot be reused.

As part of its sustainability journey, Evans took the decision to move away from aerosols, in favour of a product which could be refilled and reused and, at the end of its life, recycled. Air and Fabric Freshener bottles can be refilled repeatedly from the corresponding 5L bottle and are fully recyclable. The Flairosol spray heads are reusable for up to 25 500ml refills. Furthermore, the complete bottle is 15% lighter than most aerosol cans and the refill options mean 25% less transport space is required, reducing waste and emissions.

Unlike a standard trigger, Flairosol has a 360° fine, prolonged spray pattern, allowing for better performance and greater coverage. This method leaves less residue in the container (2%) compared with aerosols (10-15%), meaning minimal product wastage and better value for money.

Air and Fabric Freshener is ideal for use in a variety of environments, including hospitality, leisure, education, healthcare and transport. Available in two unique fragrances – Fresh Cotton and Aloe, and Midnight Rose and Oud – it comes in 500ml spray bottles, with 5L refills for maximum economy.
