The Airdri Group was founded in Oxfordshire in 1974 by Peter Philipps and Peter Allen, both experienced and entrepreneurial engineers. One of the main ways illnesses, including coronavirus, can spread through workplaces is via airborne particles, which are then directly inhaled or can land on surfaces where they can colonise and be transferred into a host via their hands. The SteraSpace range of air and surface sanitisers work by combining three technologies – Photo Catalytic Disinfection (PCD), Germicidal Irradiation and Dual Waveband UV technology – to create the most advanced virus and bacteria control technology of its kind. This offers a unique and highly effective way to eliminate bacteria, mould, yeasts, viruses, dust mites, allergens and harmful VOCs to result in clean, healthy air and surfaces in the workplace.
By combining these three advanced technologies, a continuous flow of disinfecting plasma is released into the air, eliminating 98.11% of airborne and 99.6% of surface microorganisms. It works in under 60 minutes and air doesn’t even need to pass through the units, so SteraSpace will be effective in poorly ventilated rooms.
