Toucan Eco Active Plus by Robert Scott
Toucan Eco Active Plus is a highly sustainable disinfectant generator that uses just water, salt and electricity to make a powerful antibacterial multi-surface cleaner. The advanced system is designed to empower medium-sized facilities to achieve unparalleled hygiene, while simultaneously minimising environmental impact.
In one activation, which takes around 40 minutes, the Active Plus produces 20L of disinfectant cleaner, which can be poured into spray bottles or mop buckets using either of the dilution dispensers.
It is the only product currently available of this size that harnesses the power of electrolysis to make a multipurpose disinfectant cleaner that kills over 99.999% of germs, bacteria and microorganisms, including enveloped viruses like COVID-19, on a large scale.
The cleaning solution produced by the Active Plus is 99.99% water, hypochlorous acid and sodium hypochlorite, and is certified to EN 14476, EN 16777, EN 1276 and EN 13697 standards. It is also registered as a UK biocide. The pH of the solution is around a 7.8 to 8.5, so it’s not aggressive like bleach and, as it’s safe, you don’t need protective clothing or PPE.
Toucan Eco Active Plus replaces 80% of synthetic chemical cleaners and their waste packaging, along with their manufacturing and distribution footprint, making the ultimate in sustainable cleaning solutions.
The system includes a generator, 5L tank, brine salt dispenser, discharge tap and shelf, high-volume discharge nozzle for buckets and low-volume nozzle for bottles. Fixings for the control panel and shelf are included.
