Satino by WEPA is committed to sustainable, premium quality hygiene, exceeding washroom user expectations and delivering holistic hygiene solutions. The brand is part of the professional business unit within the WEPA group, a future-oriented family business and one of the three largest European manufacturers of hygiene paper from recycled fibres.

Satino PureSoft is a product line from WEPA Professional, the division of the family-owned company that specialises in high-quality and sustainable hygiene solutions in the commercial and public sectors.

The towel, kitchen and toilet paper are made from recycled cardboard, which conserves resources and offers added social value. For the production of Satino PureSoft, WEPA has developed an innovative manufacturing process for the reutilisation of recycled cardboard into tissue paper.

Compared to hygiene paper made from virgin fibres, the ecological footprint is reduced by an impressive 70%. In addition to the tissue paper, WEPA Professional also offers a nationwide collection system with local partners, in which used towel paper is collected, recycled and reused.

Satino PureSoft represents the first premium hygiene paper from Satino by WEPA, offering 100% recycled fibres. Satino by WEPA is one of the first European manufacturers to incorporate old corrugated cardboard (OCC) and packaging board into its production cycle. This pioneering innovation is assisting businesses to achieve sustainable goals.

Recycling OCC for pulp reduces the demand for virgin fibres derived from trees and keeps natural resources away from landfill. The processes used to turn OCC into hygiene papers also consume less energy and water compared to methods using raw materials. Embracing eco-friendly practices, Satino PureSoft also achieves a remarkable 60% reduction in virgin plastic usage in its packaging compared to typical hygiene paper packaging.

Satino PureSoft is one of the softest natural-coloured papers on the market – and just as soft and absorbent as luxury products made from fresh cellulose. Satino PureSoft is dermatologically tested, also making it a good choice for sensitive skin. The hygiene papers are particularly sustainable and are produced entirely without bleaching: this not only ensures its visibly natural colouring, but also reduces its ecological footprint compared to fresh fibres.
