News Sponsored by A KINETIK future

Recent studies have shown that musculoskeletal disorders, shoulder and back pains, are all due to incorrect movements and positions when working. Repetition of the same tasks over and over with cleaning equipment can aggravate an operator’s health, too.

It’s estimated that about three quarters of absences from work are a direct result of these musculoskeletal problems. Considering the social impact of these issues, ergonomic solutions are necessary to alleviate these problems,

especially in workplaces where people spend on average eight hours a day.

IPC Group is addressing this demand by presenting the KINETIK.

KINETIK is derived from the Greek word ‘kinesis’, roughly translating to ‘well-being’, which is the exact focus of the tool, as it’s much more than just a simple mop wringer. Its Ergonomic Design (EDT) features a quadrangular grip and allows for 360° of rotation, and the position ensures a natural posture for the operator, allowing more appropriate and less strenuous movements during cleaning activities.

KINETIK also assures a better, more efficient wringing of the mop itself. In fact, the operator can select the right level of mop wringing according to the type of surfaces they are going to be cleaning, so that the amount of water used can be maximised to either low, medium or high levels.

Pre-selecting the mop’s desired degree of humidity allows the operator to reduce the amount of water used for cleaning floors, optimising cleaning operations, saving time and cost while increasing overall efficiency.

Compatible with with many mops, the revolutionary KINETIK is uniquely versatile in the market. Technology and ergonomic features meet together to realise this exclusive, user-friendly cleaning tool.

Free cleaning white paper launched

Hydro Systems has published an educational white paper, ‘Dispensing Cleanliness During an Outbreak or Pandemic’, due to the global Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

The white paper discusses the current state of the pandemic, cleaning best practices and the benefits of using chemical dispensing systems to combat an outbreak.

Matt Hayas, Global Product Manager at Hydro Systems, said: “From schools to hotels to office buildings, every facility has been impacted by COVID-19 in some shape or form, and now requires frequent cleaning to mitigate the spread of infection.

“Our free white paper provides insight on promoting health and wellness through cleaning, disinfecting and sanitising, while also outlining the effective role chemical dispensers can play before, during and after an outbreak.”

Designed for facility managers and cleaning professionals, Hydro’s white paper outlines strategies for dealing with the current pandemic, as well as preparing for future outbreaks. It emphasises the importance of using the right cleaning chemicals and tools, and also discusses dispensing system best practices, including how to select, install and maintain the system for years to come.
