Floorcare is not optional IPC Group discuss why great floorcare makes business sense.

Cleanliness is indicative of any businesses’ professionalism.

When it comes to hotel management, first impressions are vitally important, as this sets the stage for rest of the guests’ experience. From the reception and dining areas through to each individual guest room: if all are tidy and clean, guests will feel comfortable. If they’re extremely pleased by what they encounter, once they return home, they may dish out glowing, positive reviews – and not just online.

A great hotel experience is one that ends up shared with friends and family, which can potentially lead directly to more customers and clients through word of mouth alone.

In this regard, pursuing good floorcare regimens is a necessity, but alongside the matters of aesthetics, safety is also a fundamental issue.

If a floor is completely coated in layers of dust and dirt, and even worse than that, if it’s strewn with discarded debris then there’s a serious risk of injury through slips, trips or falls. When this kind of incident occurs, it can potentially lead to ruin for a business, as the site of such an accident could be rated as an unsafe building.

Prevention is always better than a cure when it comes to risks, so it

is important that all of a building’s floors are taken care of with the best solutions for their particular needs.

At the forefront of this is of course sweeping, the most decisive method of floor cleaning both indoors and outside. This year, IPC Group has addressed this market with a range of four sturdy new models.

Their efficiency is emphasised by their high degree of dust control, owing to the well-performing, front-loading filtering system, fabric filter, and the powerful suction fan. This is also supported by a special filter shaker, whose layers are designed to stay well-stretched during operation, guaranteeing a thorough collection of debris.

Additionally, the short distance between the sweeper brush and the hopper, combined with the low-speed brush rotation, grants the most effective collection of both light and heavy debris. Then, the hydraulic circuit and liquid-cooling system provides a long- lasting working time, especially in hot climate locations. All four versions of the ride-on scrubber dryer – the 155, 165, 175 and 195 – are equipped with fan and traction brush motor, activated by the hydraulic circuit.

With the new, compact walk-behind sweeper, the 750, IPC is providing the

ideal solution even for the narrowest areas. With a cleaning path width of 750mm and a hopper capacity of 50l, the machine can collect small and large debris in the most difficult of corners too.

The efficient collection is allowed by the Turbo sweeping system: two circular brushes collect the waste, throwing it back in the hopper, while the fine dust is filtrated by two special filters with the aim of protecting the operators’ health. At the end of operation, the waste container can be removed and emptied with ease, ensuring no space is wasted.

The amount of effort Operators have to put into the machine to get it to work is also quite low: the height of the brushes can be regulated through a knob, while the ergonomic handle and lightweight body enable users to move and navigate all of the areas.

For both medium and large, indoor and outdoor environments, IPC’s sweepers can deal with all cleaning challenges: the robust components and pioneering technologies make these machines absolutely reliable, productive and versatile. All types of floors will benefit from their efficiency and clients will thank you at the end.
