It wasn’t just the companies raving about the show’s success, as shortly after the show finished the organisers announced that visitor numbers had increased by an impressive 26% when compared to the 2017 event. A total of 7111 people visited the show across its three days, which included 347 international visitors from 45 countries.
The show also received a lot of attention in the mainstream national and local press, radio and TV, especially thanks to the first ever Window Cleaning World Cup. Viewers of This Morning were treated to a special feature on window cleaning, which saw two World Cup competitors demonstrate their skills before Phil and Holly tried tested out their own skills.
The success of the Cleaning Show 2019 is a testament to the strength of the UK’s cleaning industry, despite the challenging and uncertain times the UK is facing. Despite the ever- changing chaos of Brexit and its implications on our industry (and so many others) the ability for the show to not only match its previous attendance record but also smash it, is an encouraging sign.
