The Company is a registered Assessment Centre with the Waste Management Industry Training and Advisory Board (WAMITAB) providing national coverage for statutory QCF assessments leading to a Certificate of Technical Competence. Training, support and assessment is also provided for non-statutory Facilities, waste management operations and street cleansing. QSP is also a Registered Assessment Centre with City and Guilds. This allows delivery of QCF assessments from levels 1 to 4 in health and safety. We also offer a range of Facilities Management qualifications to encourage best practice and to allow employees to develop the skills necessary to perform their role effectively. Level 2 Certificate in Property, Caretaking, Cleaning Facilities - This qualification will benefit specialist caretakers and property managers or a senior cleaner and those looking to formalise their knowledge and understanding as part of continuing professional development. Level 3 Certificate in Facilities Management - This qualification will benefit team leaders or supervisors operating in a facilities management role, those looking to formalise their knowledge and understanding as part of continuing professional development and those who undertake building management services on behalf of landlords.

BIFM Training was established in 2002 as a joint venture between The British Institute of Facilities Management and Quadrilect, bringing together well-established facilities training programmes. The courses are based on many years of ‘hands on’ management experience in many topic areas, and the content, which is regularly updated, comprises a unique blend of theory and practical guidance and advice. BIFM’s highly professional and qualified Trainer Team has been recruited and nurtured over many years and is made up of practising managers and consultants selected for their expertise and presentation skills, a number of whom are routinely consulted when new legislation is drafted.

South Thames College’s successful Centre for Employers and Enterprise based in Tooting, London is one of the country’s largest and best regarded training organisations for the cleaning industry. The College runs specialist courses ensuring new and existing cleaning operatives are equipped with all the skills they need in the workplace. South Thames can offer funding and free training in Cleaning and Support Service Skills and is now offering new qualifications such as Advanced Apprenticeships for Facilities Managers. Candidates receive a QCF Certification which is similar to previous NVQ Cleaning qualifications. A number of industry focused modules are offered including Health and Safety, Storage of equipment, Hygiene in varying environments, Teamwork and Communication and Customer Care. The British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICS), Cleaning Professional Skills Suite units (CPSS) are offered and some BICS training is included free with funded QCF courses.
