FM Facts For over 20 years FM Facts has continued to evolve to meet the changing needs of facilities managers and FM providers. FM Facts modules feature powerful integration and intranet access for key modules. They are available either installed on your own IT infrastructure or delivered remotely as a hosted ‘cloud’ Software as a Service.

Recently introduced features to FM Facts include a new generation of interactive room signs, fully integrated with FM Facts Room/ Resource Booking software, to give total control of bookable rooms and spaces, with advanced features such as ‘booking on the fly’.


Room/Resource Booking also provides direct integration with Microsoft Outlook/Exchange, enabling rooms and associated services to be booked directly from the Outlook Calendar.


Service and Maintenance


Management with Vixen Causeway’s Vixen software is designed to meet the specific needs of housing maintenance contractors, service and maintenance and building services contractors. Technology includes customised workforce managemenet solutions, including mobile communications, vehicle tracking and optimised scheduling of jobs and resources. Advanced management and reporting tools help to maintain high service levels and profitability.


Comprehensive information on each contract, site, plant and job history are held for instant access, while Client Web Access allows clients to view live information online via secure password- protected logins. An optional

customer service front-end allows for calls to be logged, payments taken and contracts set up and managed, all on a single screen. Integration with market-leading Vision software further enhances the ease of reporting on key management information from Vixen. This includes Vision Alerts, with user- definable alert criteria, including exception reporting.


To help facilities and service management contractors broaden the range of services they offer to their customers, Vixen also offers enhanced asset management functionality.


For housing maintenance contractors, Causeway Vixen now includes web call-logging, enabling social housing tenants and landlords to book calls online and specify preferred appointment times, in line with Audit Commission recommendations.


Vixen can also be integrated with the Causeway Tradex eTrading solution.


FM on the move In conjunction with its facilities and service management software, Causeway offers mobile solutions to improve communications with field staff and facilitate compliance with Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements.


For example, using FM Facts Asset Management and Mobile FM, field operatives can carry out a virtually unlimited range of standard audits (cleanliness inspections, health and safety, verifying waste collections etc.) while on the move.


Whenever the measured parameter is recorded as scoring below an acceptable standard a Helpdesk task is automatically generated and assigned. Reminders can be configured for regular audits and inspections.
