Amazon names UK head of operations Amazon UK has appointed John Boumphrey to the role of head of operations. Currently VP of Amazon Fashion Europe, Boumphrey will replace Doug Gurr in November.
New CEO, CMO and more for Pentland Brands Pentland Brands has promoted Chirag Patel from COO & deputy CEO to the role of CEO, effective January 1st. The business will also welcome Penny Herriman as its chief marketing officer. Herriman joins from White Stuff and prior to that was global brand director at Boden. Charlotte Cox is joining from Canterbury and Mitre to become EMEA President of Pentland Brands, Jon Godden moves from the position of chief HR officer to chief operating officer. Finally, Dominique Highfield will join the executive team as finance director.

New CFO for Topps Tiles Topps Tiles had named Stephen Hopson as its new chief financial officer. Hopson will join the business in November from Molson Coors where he holds the position of Western Europe central finance director. Prior to this, he was finance director for BSS, a heating distributor.
eBay promotes Lambell eBay has promoted its head of trading team Murray Lambell to the position of general manager of its UK business. The role became vacant earlier this year when Rob Hattrell was promoted.
New CEO for Jimmy Choo Capri Holdings has confirmed that Hannah Colman has been appointed to the role of CEO for Jimmy Choo. Colman will replace incumbent Pierre Denis who stepped down in February.
New hirings at Merkle James Griffiths is the latest recruit to join Merkle. Formerly UK client services director at Rapp, Griffiths takes up the role of VP, client partner at the agency. Other recent recruits include Richard Hennis who joined in February from Engine and Daniel Brewer who was previously with Starcom MediaVest, as well as Soizic Sycamore from Wunderman Thompson. All four will work across Merkle’s UK client base.
