38 Cleanroom air for compact spaces

The requirements in respect of the cleanliness of environments have increased dramatically, particularly in the areas of industrial production, such as optics, packaging and in laboratories and research. A particulate-free, sterile environment is often crucial in such fields. For this reason, considerable amounts of money are often spent and enormous technical effort is invested in erecting large clean rooms, even though clean room conditions are only actually needed in part of the space.

It is for exactly applications such as these that Spetec® clean room conditions precisely where they are needed. A single Spetec®

offers its Laminar Flow Box FBS series of products which make it possible to create Flow Box FBS delivers an effective clean room area of between

0.37 and 1.12 m². Although this may not sound like much, it is often more than enough because the type H14 filter used in the Flow Box FBS removes at least 99.995% of all particles – based on a particle size of 0.12 μm in accordance with MPPS.

The Spetec® Flow Box FBS therefore improves the air quality by at least a factor of 10,000 compared to the ambient air. As a result, clean

rooms corresponding to ISO class 5 are achieved at a very acceptable cost and without the need for any building work. The Spetec®

The Flow Box is available as both a floor-standing and table variant. More information online: ilmt.co/PL/lQEx

Flow Box FBS is available in a number of different models and has been tested and certified by the Fraunhofer Institute for

Manufacturing Engineering and Automation. It goes without saying that only materials suitable for clean room applications - such as acrylic glass and anodised aluminium – are used.

Bottle-top dispensers for safe, precise liquid handling

dispensers are designed with the day-to-day needs of laboratory professionals in mind and offer a reliable and robust solution with excellent chemical resistance. A key advantage of Socorex bottle-top dispensers is their chemical compatibility, tailored for specific reagent types. While CalibrexTM

and non-crystalising solutions, CalibrexTM universal chemical resistance.

solutae 530 allows trouble free distribution of salt solutions, weak and strong acids and bases. And CalibrexTM

The bottle-top dispenser is available in seven models ranging from 1 to 100 mL and convinces with its durability and ease of maintenance. It is fully autoclavable, and key elements such as valves, plunger, barrel and delivery jet are removable in seconds for deep cleaning. An integrated calibration system allows easy in-lab adjustments without disassembly, largely reducing downtime.

The instrument rotates 360° for an adequate positioning on the bottle, which makes the volume clearly visible from any position. Its one-handed adjustable volume setting, ergonomic grip and smooth operation contribute to reducing user fatigue.

The CalibrexTM bottle-top dispenser is the dependable, user-friendly choice for laboratory professionals, making dispensing in millilitre scale precise, efficient and safe. More information online: ilmt.co/PL/Yw7o 65624pr@reply-direct.com

When it comes to repeated liquid distribution, bottle-top dispensers are a versatile tool. Their main advantage lies in consistent and accurate dispensing with minimal effort. CalibrexTM

65621pr@reply-direct.com Advanced containment cabinets expand hygienic lab solutions

Teknomek has partnered with Monmouth Scientific to expand its hygienic equipment portfolio with a range of advanced containment cabinets designed for the safe handling of hazardous chemicals. The collaboration enables customers working in life sciences, pharmaceuticals, aerospace, forensics, precision engineering, manufacturing, and academic research to access industry-leading air containment solutions from two trusted UK specialists.

A member of the SDI Group, Monmouth Scientific is a recognised leader in clean air technologies, known for developing advanced recirculating systems that deliver the highest standards of safety and performance. The extended Teknomek range now includes four core products from the Monmouth Scientific catalogue, each offering a balance of precision airflow control, ergonomic design, and energy efficiency.

Recirculating filtration fume cupboards ensure safe handling of hazardous chemicals in laboratories and industrial environments. The Circulaire® Fume

Cupboard provides operator protection in laboratories and industrial environments where external venting is not feasible. Its recirculating filtration design offers flexible, energy-efficient fume and vapour containment without the need for costly ductwork or installation, making it ideal for restricted workspaces.

The Circulaire® Laminar Flow Cabinet delivers ISO Class 4 clean-air product protection for sensitive samples and laboratory applications. Available

with vertical or horizontal airflow, it combines ULPA and EU4 filtration with quiet, energy-efficient operation and precision control. The Guardian Class II Biological Safety Cabinet supports sterile material handling and biological sample work. Featuring HEPA filtration, inward airflow, and intelligent safety systems, it provides a reliable, energy-efficient solution for compliant laboratory environments.

The Circulaire® Powder Containment Cupboard ensures accurate containment and operator protection when handling, weighing, or processing hazardous

powders. With dual HEPA filtration, ergonomic access, and low-vibration performance, it safeguards both personnel and the surrounding environment. All four cabinets feature the Visionaire®

eco mode when idle.

Michelle Locke, Product and Marketing Manager at Teknomek, commented: “These clean air systems perfectly complement our mission to deliver complete, hygienic solutions for safety-critical industries.” More information online: ilmt.co/PL/lM8n
