8 Certifi cation for liquid fl owmeters
Testa Analytical offers a choice of certifi cation services to demonstrate the reliability and quality of each Liquid Chromatography fl owmeter or microfl owmeter it delivers to a customer lab.
All fl owmeters come with a free Certifi cate of Conformity demonstrating compliance of each individual device with the company’s published performance specifi cations. This certifi cation is typically suffi cient for any application involving constant monitoring of fl ow rate.
For labs looking to validate or certify the performance of a pump within its range of operation this requires the use of fl owmeters which are themselves validated. For this Testa Analytical offers a traceable calibration service for its range of fl owmeters. Traceable to known reference or standard, each Certifi cate of Calibration certifi es that a 10-point calibration protocol has been undertaken covering the full range of operation for a supplied fl owmeter.
In regulated labs, traceable calibrations often require re-validation on an annual basis. Traceable calibration provides increased confi dence in your obtained results and therefore in any validation based upon these results.
Both certifi cates play vital roles in quality assurance and are essential for maintaining consistent and reliable fl ow rate measurement. Download the ‘Conformity or Calibration - which certifi cation do you require for your Flowmeter?’ technical note. More information online:

New application note: AEX-MS - a powerful tool for charge heterogeneity characterisation of an IgG4-based mAb
The effi cacy and safety of mAbs is ensured by tightly controlled critical quality attributes (CQA) such as the charge heterogeneity. To monitor the CQAs of mAbs, sensitive and reliable analytical methods are essential. This application note from YMC Europe demonstrates the successful charge heterogeneity analysis of an IgG4-based mAb with a pI of 6.6 using a strong anion exchange column, BioPro IEX QF, coupled to mass spectrometry (MS) detection. PNGase F-mediated deglycosylation enhanced the resolution of glycosylated variants, allowing for precise monitoring of Fc CQAs.
