CEM 38 EMISSIONS MONITORING Join some globally acclaimed experts on methane monitoring for cof ee in Barcelona

AddGlobe, LLC, a highly reputable engineering and development company with a wealth of experience in the fi eld of gas distribution networks, will be sponsoring the CEM Exhibition coff ee sessions. Addglobe was founded as a reseller of air sampling products over 15 years ago. They also used this technology in their various Projects of Joint Implementation under Kyoto Protocol from 2007 to 2013. This gained Addglobe invaluable experience and they expanded the team’s capabilities to include the management and coordination of all aspects of inspection and repair of gas networks/valves for several diff erent organisations, overseeing their instruments, methods, databases, etc..

The Addglobe team has provided technical and methodological support for numerous gas distribution projects and has an extensive level of expertise in issues relating to the detection and measurement of methane leaks. This knowledge and experience made it possible for them to design, develop and manufacture the GFM (Gas Flow Meter) 2.0. This device is their next-generation High Volume Sampler designed for EPA and international environmental compliance. The GFM 2.0 is a portable, intrinsically safe, rechargeable direct measurement instrument that rapidly quantifi es precise leak rates of 99% of fugitive methane emissions. The GFM 2.0 performs fast and precise leak measurements by utilising a high fl ow rate of air and a modifi ed enclosure to completely capture gas leaking from the component. The device features intrinsically safe, non- dispersive infrared optical sensors with a wide temperature range; these are used to measure the natural gas concentration in the system’s air stream. The measuring system also includes additional sensors to reveal the volume of oxygen in the gas stream enabling gas density to be corrected and the eff ects of high-order hydrocarbon impurities to be eliminated. The proprietary Oxygen Displacement Method enables the GFM 2.0 to make precise leak measurements with +/- 5% level of accuracy.

Unique and innovative air monitoring technology to feature at CEM Barcelona

Versatile and innovative gas analysis technology to be exhibited in Barcelona

SW Technology will be showcasing its versatile range of gas analysers, including the innovative qLDX, qOXY, and qCOMB systems, at the upcoming CEM exhibition

The highlight of SW Technology’s exhibit will be the qLDX gas analyser (pictured), designed for the continuous monitoring of NH3

, HCL and H2 O gases. Incorporating

state-of-the-art Tunable Diode Laser Spectrometry (TDLS), the qLDX system provides operators with outstanding accuracy and selectivity, virtually eliminating cross- sensitivity with other gases. The innovative and patented measurement principle employed by qLDX eliminates the necessity for a physical reference channel, providing operators with dependable and precise gas measurements. With a long lifespan of over 10 years, rapid response times, and low power consumption options, the qLDX analyser ensures cost-eff ective and effi cient gas monitoring. Additionally, its user- friendly touchscreen and navigation keyboard, along with three access levels for operator, engineer, and servicing, make it a highly accessible solution for various applications.

The qOXY gas analyser, another highlight of SW Technology’s stand, is designed for the continuous monitoring of O2

robust, accurate, and reliable Zirconium probe sensor, the qOXY system eliminates the need for a physical reference channel. This advanced technology enables the sensor to operate eff ectively in various environments, including those with high temperatures, humidity, and oxygen pressures. With its extractive system and standard 19” rack design, the qOXY gas analyser off ers ease of installation and maintenance, making it a preferred choice for selective detection and monitoring of gases.

automatic internal backup, ensuring accurate and reliable data storage. Equipped with a fi lter, suction pump, and Peltier cooler, the qCOMB system simplifi es installation by using fast-connect removable sockets for electrical connections. The device also off ers various connectivity options, including Ethernet 10/100 socket, WiFi connectivity, FTP fi le transfer, Windows fi le sharing, and Remote VNC connection.
