AIR MONITORING 57
VARIOluxx Portable 9-Gas Complete Analysis System
For semi-continuous measurements of flue gases and certified to EN 50379
The new gas analyser made in Germany by MRU, is designed for stand-alone, long-time measurements, with all modern real time data transfer to PC or smartphone via Wi-Fi, or Ethernet, RS485, USB and 4-20mA analogue outputs.
The analyser is housed in a rugged aluminium enclosure with rubber corner impact-protection, and is using Linux operating system, with a high contrast 7” (840x480) graphical display and intuitive touch & swipe panel. Automatic measurements and data logging are available, also with graphical measurements visualisation and csv or pdf emission reporting using the powerful MRU4Win PC-software.
Beside of the improved heated gas sampling probe with easy & fast exchangeable filter cartridge, the analyser is using a heated sampling line and built-in efficient Peltier gas cooler with automatic condensate draining pump, flow rate regulated gas sampling pump with internal sample flow measurement and on display alarm, 3-way valve for automatic zeroing, all system components required to produce correct gas measurements, even for longer-time flue gas sampling.
Including up to 6 electrochemical cells and a 3-gas infrared bench, the analyser can perform an up to 9-gas analysis of O2
Nm3
, CO, NO, NO2 and g/Nm3
, SO2 , H2 S, H2 and with O2 , CO2 , HC (as CH4 or C3 H8 ), with volumetric and mass emission calculation of mg/ referencing. Measurement of flue gas temperature and flow velocity by means of
integrated differential pressure sensor and Pitot or Darcy tube, is completing the large spectrum of use. More information online:

BlueSky™ Air Quality Monitor – new low-cost sensor to simultaneously measure PM1, PM2.5, PM4 and PM10
Today, more and more individuals across the world are taking it upon themselves to measure their local air quality. With advancements in air sensor technology, smaller and more affordable monitors are now available, which means more monitors can be placed around a community to increase the amount of air quality data points. TSI is pleased to introduce the new BlueSky™ Air Quality Monitor.
BlueSky™ Air Quality Monitors are designed by measurement experts from TSI, a USA based company that has set the standards for precision instrumentation
since 1961. The TSI team aimed to develop a connected solution for air monitoring that provides reliable, instantaneous data to urban communities working to minimise air pollution exposure. BlueSky™ Monitors are easy to integrate into an existing infrastructure and the proprietary cloud-based platform, TSI Link™ Solutions, provides secure, remote monitoring. Each device can stream and display real-time live data from the cloud using Wi-Fi without installing software or an app. The platform can allow users to make their air quality measurements visible to anyone who has registered with the TSI Link™ community enabling the general public to participate in and make informed decisions about where they should walk, cycle, play and live.
Inside every BlueSky Monitor is a TSI factory-calibrated PM sensor for precise data. A unique laser-based light scattering particle sensor simultaneously measures particulate matter sizes PM1, PM2.5, PM4, PM10 as well as temperature and relative humidity. Equipped with self-diagnostics, device owners will receive notifi cations should a performance issue be detected, enabling them to quickly react and maintain data integrity.
Benefi ts of BlueSky air monitoring systems: • Easy to install: Mount to any pole, fence, etc., exactly where you want it
• Easy to use: Manage your BlueSky outdoor air quality monitor data and view instrument diagnostics on TSI Link™ Solutions
• Accuracy you can depend on: Professional readings from a research-quality sensor calibrated to TSI standards
• Scale effi ciently: Low cost of ownership allows you to strategically install more BlueSky monitors to provide better neighborhood-level, localised monitoring results
