The 3rd
INDUSTRIAL METHANE MEASUREMENT CONFERENCE
8TH & 9TH JUNE 2022 - ROTTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS
Following the successes of IMMC 2017 and IMMC 2019, where over 100 industrial stakeholders, academics and regulators joined from all over the world to discuss the increasing need and growing capabilities to measure and reduce industrial methane emissions, we are pleased to announce IMMC 2022.
Methane is a potent greenhouse gas and has a signifi cant impact on global climate change. However, the persistence of methane in the atmosphere is much shorter than carbon dioxide, so initiatives to lower methane emissions are likely to be effective more quickly. It is therefore vital that methane emissions are reduced in the near-term, facilitated by accurate and reliable measurements. However, it can be challenging for industry to keep pace with evolving regulations and increasingly sophisticated techniques available to industry to monitor emissions.
IMMC 2022 provides a unique environment for delegates, allowing them the opportunity to compare capabilities, discuss challenges and review emerging technologies for monitoring methane. At IMMC 2022, leading experts will discuss latest fi eld studies and policy developments alongside showcasing cutting edge methods and novel technologies for monitoring fugitive methane emissions including leak detection, identifi cation and quantifi cation as well as long term monitoring.
The event is aimed at:
• Industry, including oil & gas, waste management, product & equipment manufacturer sectors, petrochemicals, and agriculture industries • Policy makers and regulators, who set and enforce the requirements for monitoring methane • Scientists and academia, involved with developing the methods and quantifi cation of fugitive emissions
• Solution providers and consultants, who work with the above stakeholders in providing consultancy for the measurement of industrial methane emissions
