VIS II impresses VIS II is that it
features an integrated nephelometric turbidity (NTU) measurement function. An advantage of this measurement is the integrated NTU-Check function, which allows the detection of interfering turbidity with every powder pillow measurement – an unprecedented measurement feature in the field of powder pillow reagents.
VISOCOLOR® Powder Pillows combine easy dosing of reagents with long-term stability. Every
powder pillow contains the exact amount of reagent, which is needed for one determination. There is no chance of reagent contamination. Therefore, the shelf life of these reagent kits is up to five years. All necessary information for quality assurance, as test name, LOT and expiry date is printed on every powder pillow to ensure the highest level of measurement safety. No scissors or spoons are required to open or dose the powder pillow reagents directly into the test tube, which ensures maximum measurement integrity.
VISOCOLOR® Powder Pillows are available for many different parameters important for drinking
water, wastewater and general water analysis. The newest parameters are nitrate and iron. The other available parameters are: chlorine free, chlorine total, iron, nitrate, ozone, pH, silica and sulphate.

PyroScience’s Redflash technology is based on the unique analyte-sensitive Redflash sensor materials. In contrast to common techniques using blue-light excitation, the Redflash sensors are excitable with red light and display an analyte-dependent luminescence in the near infrared (NIR). This excitation with red light significantly reduces interferences caused by auto-fluorescent samples and decreases photobleaching to a minimum. The sensor spots can be used as disposable, making maintenance of long-term measurements simple by exchanging the sensor spot.
