Analytical Instrumentation - Spotlight on the Gulf Coast Conference PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS

Monochromatic Wavelength Dispersive X-ray Fluorescence (MWDXRF)

MWDXRF utilizes leading-edge optics technology to produce highly precise monochromatic excitation. This method does not rely on combustion for analysis. With easy to operate instruments, MWDXRF analyzers provide refineries, terminals, and test inspection certification companies with an efficient, reliable, and highly accurate way to determine the sulfur and chlorine content of their products.

Sindie +Cl delivers exceptional reproducibility for both sulfur and chlorine analysis with one push of a button and zero hassle. Samples are measured

directly, which means it can analyze even the heaviest of hydrocarbons like crude oil or coker residuals, without the hassle of boats, injectors, furnaces, or changing detectors. Sindie +Cl complies with ASTM D2622, D7039, D7536, D4929, and SH/T 0842.

Sindie 2622 complies with ASTM D2622, D7039 and ISO 20884 methods, enabling complete flexibility in sulfur analysis. With no

compromises in detection, performance and reliability, Sindie 2622 is the ideal sulfur analytical solution from ultra-low sulfur diesel and gasoline to heavy fuel oil and crudes. Utilizing MWDXRF technology, Sindie 2622 offers D2622 method compliance with D7039 performance.

Sindie 7039 G3 delivers excellent precision with an LOD of 0.15 ppm at 300s. This instrument uses

Accucells for hassle-free sample preparation. Sindie 7039 complies with ASTM D7039 and ISO 20884.

Same Separation, Speedier Solution

Designed with GC-MS users in mind, Restek’s GC Accelerator kit provides a simple way to speed up sample analysis. By reducing oven volume, these inserts allow faster ramp rates to be attained, which reduces oven cycle time and allows for increased sample throughput and more capacity to process rush samples. When faster ramp rates are used, existing methods can be accurately scaled down to smaller, high-efficiency, narrow-bore columns using Restek’s EZGC method translator. With a scaled-down column, a properly translated method, and a GC Accelerator kit, you can obtain the same chromatographic separation—often with greater sensitivity—in a fraction of the time without making a capital investment.

Simple, safe & cost-saving LPG vaporiser Everyone analysing

LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) or LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) knows challenges created by sampling of these products.

To help analysts AlyTech,

Francedesigned AURA ADVANTAGE

- LPG/LNG sampling device that safely vaporises the LPG sample into 100% gas phase and deliver to an analyser via heated transfer lines to prevent any condensation. The system is equipped with a heat regulator to set optimal evaporation temperature and build-in pressure regulator keeps the output pressure at a desired value.

The AURA is compliant with ASTM D6667 method “Total Volatile Sulfur in Gaseous Hydrocarbons and Liquefied Petroleum Gases by UVF” and often used for calibration and sample introduction into elemental analysers. All tubing is treated inert to the reactive sulfur compounds and suitable for trace analysis.

In combination with automated gas blender/diluter GasMix™ from AlyTech, the system prepares multi- point calibration standards in LPG matrix. Equipped with an injection valve and flexible software, the GasMix™ system can interface with the analyzer and run fully automatic sequences of routine quality assurance program. Use a LPG standard avoids matrix effects (that may occur if an analyser is calibrated with gases while samples being LPG), giving more accurate results. The solution enables calibration of your analyzer and checks the linearity of response without really limitation on the number of points.

There are many other applications where the AURA helps safely measure LPG samples without the need of sample pressurization, for example injection in GC or GC/MS.

Pure Chromatography

The solution offered by AlyTech significantly increases productivity, providing a maximum operator safety and improve your quality assurance while running LPG samples.
