After getting the engine to the door via the overhead crane, here is the engine coming out of the pump house on its side (see bottom picture on page 6). The lorry was too large to get into our driveway, so we had to off load it at the roadside, temporarily blocking the road.


Here is the engine being gently lowered to the ground,


we then had to adjust the slings to upright it, and bolt on the skids I had made to stand it up on.


Once the crane lorry had gone, we went back to work. Later that evening my Dad and I towed the engine down the cart track to its new home. We used our Case back- hoe digger to haul it; it certainly made it grunt!
