to the July/August 2021 issue of The Vintage Scene.
Wow, July already! This year is flashing by. After the disappointing news that the
Lockdown lift was being postponed, we now all eagerly await 19th July in the hope that all of our favourite events and attractions will once again be back on the agenda. Many of our big shows and rallies have been cancelled, both last year and this. So much hard work down the drain; I feel so sorry for the poor organisers. The sun is creeping through the crowds though, and we see the return of our Diary Dates section. We also have some event reports too!
This issue is full of variety; it has been a really enjoyable one to work on. Willy Carson takes a jaunt around the back lanes in a Model T Ford, whilst his daughter Rebecca is busy de-rusting her Lister D engine. Kenny Wharton has been out and about, sending reports from Little Weighton Charity Tractor Run, St. Michael’s on Wyre Ploughing Match and Beadlam Charity Tractor Run. Carl Hargreaves talks us through his acquisition of an Allen S12 Oil Engine, and
