In this topic, the learners will find out about what need to live – food, water, air and sunlight. They will talk about different types of food and what they do. They will discuss water sources and the importance of water. The learners will conduct an experiment on air. They will discuss the importance of the Sun and protection from the Sun. In Visual Arts, the learners will create patterns and draw a picture of the body in


action using warm and cool colours. In Physical Education, the learners will play skipping games, share indigenous


games and do balancing and breathing exercises. Time has been allowed for consolidating skills, free play and classroom routines.
