Congratulations to Florida Strawberry Festival Board Member Sandee Parke Sytsma on being named Plant City’s 2021 Outstanding Citizen of the Year today. Sandee was the Festival’s first female Chairman of the Board, serving in the position from 2018-2019. She previously served as the Festival’s Queen and Court Coordinator for over 10 years and was a role model for over 50 of Plant City’s young women in this capacity. In addition to her work at the Festival, she and her husband Hank are active members of GracePoint Church in Plant City.

Ms. Sharon Moody has been named 2021 Grand Marshal of the Florida Strawberry Festival Grand Parade. Sharon will lead the parade through historic downtown Plant City begin- ning at 1PM on Monday, March 8. The parade will pass the Festival midway around 2PM. Congratulations, Sharon!
