Gangways for boatyard shows
The cancellation of this Winter’s major international boat shows due to the Covid-19 pandemic has forced some builders of superyachts and other large leisure craft to organise showroom space within their premises. This, in turn, created a need for special gangways to allow potential customers to board the yachts in safety. The challenge was met by Naval
Tecno Sud Srl, which quickly introduced a versatile means of access that could be adapted to

he latest innovation from Roodberg is the E-Axle, a boat moving unit that is powered by electricity.
According to this Dutch company,
there are three reasons to choose the E-Axle for boatyard operations. These are: environmently-friendly; maximum efficiency; and ultimate quality.

environmentally-friendly solution to move boats – there are no damaging emissions and an additional advantage of an electric motor is the lack of noise
pollution in the yard. It is suitable for efficient deployment on slopes, as well as flat surfaces, and its operator can use the remote control to move and manoeuvre the unit in small spaces.
