SERVICE PEDESTALS 11

Elegant pedestals from Italy L

ocated in the beautiful Italian city of Ravenna on the Adriatic Sea, Plus Marine has been

manufacturing pedestals and its unique E+power metering system for over 20 years. There are two main product lines

for pedestals – the S-Line and The Smart Series. The elegant S-Line pedestals are made of Stainless Steel AISI316L, whilst the material used for the Smart Series of strong, sturdy

bollards is HDPE. Both lines feature metering, supervision and access control. The E+power is an innovative and intelligent socket with an integrated system for monitoring the

consumption of energy and water, which employs Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology to identify the user for pre-payment. Using the communication module (cable or wireless), it is possible to

connect to the supervision system and transmit data for diagnostics and remote billing. Plus Marine info@plusmarine.com www.plusmarine.com

aluminium and stainless steel. High-quality aluminium, such as a T5 structural grade anodised to 25 microns, is essential for longevity in the marine environment. They also need to have the

ability to be maintained easily and removable service panels are crucial. Finally, it is not unknown for them to be hit by skippers when mooring their boats in difficult conditions, so a quick- release base is a useful bonus for any marina!
