Rotating jib crane
Designed for simple handling of boats undergoing repairs or being stored at marinas, the JIB 32 rotating crane from Ascom SpA features either a single lifting point or four independent lifting points. This model can also be equipped with customised adjustable spreaders, slings, etc. The JIB 32 is available in either
electric or hydraulic versions up to 80 ton capacity and is operated by proportional remote radio control. However, if radio control is interrupted for any reason, it can be operated by emergency direct control. A counterweight is fitted to the
end of the boom for stability, there is an over-sized weight indicator and access to the structure is provided by a vertical fixed ladder with safety cage and walkway with railings. There are also lights when it is necessary to remove boats from the water at night. Anti-corrosion protection enables the crane to resist the effects of wind and rain. It can also be supplied in a shade of paint chosen by the customer to match the corporate colour of a marina. Ascom SpA
