COVID.There will be social distancing in class and all participants will be required to sanitize.We will provide all the nec- essary PPE for learners,”explained Jane Brenner,TDCALA executive direc- tor, who also touched on what needs to be accomplished for in-person. “Sign in lists, masks, face shields and hand sanitizer before and after the close of classes.” In terms of services offered by TDCALA, there are numerous options for those looking to advance their education. Career and employment services is offered which provides assistance to unemployed and marginally employed residents who have barriers to employment. Eligible participants must be Alberta residents, legally entitled to work in
Canada and work a minimum of 15 hours per week. Services are available Monday to Friday from 9
a.m.to 4 p.m. Classes, with over 200 available, are also available through Ed2Go which is facilitated through TDCALA with each course running for six weeks. English as a Second Language (ESL) is offered with classes running Monday-Thursday from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m.and Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:30- 8:30 p.m.
