ix months after The Flavel shut its doors, we are delighted to be open again and welcoming back regular and new customers into the building. As ever, great entertainment awaits you in a friendly,

and now updated, COVID-19 safe environment. Our reconfigured main auditorium with socially distanced seating provides an intimate experience that friends and family can enjoy in their own group ‘bubbles’. Our current programme is a diverse mix of film and music cinema events, with screenings at 2.30pm each day and on Friday and Saturday evenings at 7.30pm, with further evening screenings starting next month. Sadly, our live events programme is on hold until next

year, but you can be sure of some great options to keep you entertained until then, including the latest cinema releases, some classic films and exciting event cinema. Full details of the programme can be found on our website: www.theflavel. org.uk. With a reputation as one of the best independent arts

venues in Devon, we offer a diverse programme of live events, film, opera, theatre and visual arts as well as a wide variety of clubs, groups and well-being sessions. We also work extensively with organisations, businesses, and people of all ages in the local community and offer hire of our venue spaces to host private parties,

meetings and corporate events. COVID-19 has impacted on every aspect of the arts

industry and, as the centre of Dartmouth’s vibrant arts and entertainment, we too have faced many challenges including navigating rescheduled live performances, furloughing staff and rolling out all the essential COVID-19 safeguarding measures. The response from our customers since reopening has been phenomenal but, as a registered charity, we need your support now more than ever, to help protect our wonderful venue and the many talented professionals working within the arts sector, who keep us entertained across all facets of the industry. You can support us by buying a ticket, becoming

a Flavel Friend, volunteering or making a donation - everything helps! The Flavel is an incredibly valuable community

resource that brings people together in a warm, friendly and open environment. Your support is essential in achieving this – thank you. Please take a look at our website for further

information: www.theflavel.org.uk or call the Box Office on 01803 839530.

We look forward to seeing you soon. Dartmouth, TQ6 9ND • www.theflavel.org.uk
