Here is a flavour of the programme: ● Ed Welch, the composer, will talk about composing the Mayflower Anthem.
● Dr Stephanie Pratt, a Dakota and Anglo-American historian, will give a fascinating talk about English views of the indigenous North Americans in the early 17th
century.
● The premiere of our Film Project – a programme of four short contemporary student films, inspired by themes of the Mayflower Story.
● Musical performances - of early 17th and others.
century music
● Journalist Richard Holledge, will talk about the surprising things he discovered about characters on The Mayflower when it was moored in in Dartmouth, while researching his book, ‘Voices of the Mayflower’.
● A new film relating Dartmouth Mayflower 400’s project from the original concept to its fruition.

DARTMOUTH MAYFLOWER 400 PENNANTS
Dartmouth Mayflower 400 would like to congratulate the Dartmouth Stitchery Group led by Rose Williams on the fantastic job of decorating the town this summer with the Dartmouth Mayflower pennants. A fantastic community project which will see a
large selection of the Pennants coming out again in August 2021 for next year’s Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta. A great legacy for the town. The team have also sold off a great number of the pennants to local businesses and the general public in aid of Rowcroft. Please do enjoy those still to be seen hanging around the town!
