pantries that give year-round help to those who are living paycheck to paycheck and struggling to feed their children. We have not only made distributions directly to the needy, but WME has also used mobile food distributions to supply boxes with items like milk, eggs, bread, frozen meats and canned goods to those with no transporta- tion. Desperate mothers have received di- apers and baby wipes.

In addition to food pantries, WME is work- ing with women’s shelters caring for indi- vidual women as well as single mothers with young families. These shelters provide free housing. The women’s shelters need food, clothing, toys, household items and toiletries. Mothers need lotion, diapers, wipes, bottles, shampoo, body wash and powder for infants and toddlers.

Marcia, who has supervised a WME food pantry in West Virginia for decades, said it this way:

How You Can Get Involved

9

1. Help stock the shelves of a USA food pantry — Gift of $100 2. Provide supplies to a women's shelter — Gift of $100 3. Give basic necessities for babies & toddlers — Gift of $50 4. Give books & school supplies to children in need — Gift of $30

There’s always a need for food. When I look into the eyes of people who come to the food pantry, my heart aches. The stress and worry on their faces makes you want to help those in need that much more. When families receive food, their expressions are so ap- preciative with smiles of gratitude. We always need donations so more food can be purchased for families in need. If you could just find it in your heart to give and help these people, it will provide SO MUCH JOY.

Please consider giving to WME today as a way of helping an individual or family caught up in hard times.Whether you give financially, send clothing and household goods, or pray for World Missionary Evangelism’s ministry, you make this in- creasingly critical work possible.
