And it’s not just folks living in cities — People living in rural areas are driving for miles to find an open food pantry that can provide help.


It’s been a tough year for many in our communities. The spread of COVID-19 has led to economic turmoil, forcing businesses to shutter their doors and leaving working adults furloughed or laid off entirely. People have struggled to pay basic bills and get groceries. Be- cause of this, food pantries are in greater demand than ever before.
